Life’s a beach for model Rebecca DiPietro, but she is much more than just another pretty girl in a bikini.

The Rhode Island native talks about her charity efforts in an interview that appears this week on the popular men’s lifestyle portal Savvy.com (http://www.savvy.com). A non-nude pictorial coincides with a fully revealed version in Mystique Magazine (http://www.mystique-magazine.com).

DiPietro won first runner-up in Mystique Magazine’s Mystical Journeys contest and appears in the “Mystique Presents Mystical Journeys” book, where she talks about delivering medicine to HIV-positive children on Roatan, an island off the coast of Honduras.

“It was great to touch their lives. One little girl came up and hugged me when we got there. If it weren’t for Mystique, they wouldn’t have these supplies, never mind that they are infected with such a horrible disease,” she said.

The Rhode Island native also makes promotional appearances including charity events for Hawaiian Tropic. She told Savvy she won the USA Hawaiian Tropic Nationals in September 2005 and earned a position as spokes model for the organization’s new Hawaiian Tropic Zone Restaurant, Bar & Lounge opening August 2006 at 727 7th Avenue (49th Street) in New York City.

DiPietro entered the modeling world after being pushed, literally, onstage during a bikini contest in Cancun, Mexico. She went on to host “Wild On... Spring Break” for the E! Television Network.

She will occupy 20 pages in the Mystique Mystical Sirens hard cover book coming out in July and the cover of the Mystique digital issues for June (available online from Zinio.com).

Once a month, Savvy (http://www.savvy.com) showcases the beautiful women of our partner Mystique (http://www.mystique-magazine.com) and photographer Mark Daughn’s seductive style of photography. Since its creation in 1998, Mystique has emerged as one of the leading brands specializing in sensual glamour photography created in some of the world’s most exotic locations. It’s sexier than Victoria’s Secret, but not as revealing or explicit as Playboy. Mystique features “women you could spend the rest of your life with,” perfectly complimenting the women featured in Savvy.com’s non-nude pictorials.

Savvy.com has previously featured Mystique’s Amiee Rickards, Aria Giovanni, Jannah Burnham, and Tailor James.
